Commitment Sunday

November 2026

Dear New Covenant Members & Friends in Christ,

It has been an incredible year at New Covenant Lutheran Church and School, thank you so much for your dedication to our community. Your generosity and support allow us to carry out our mission: “Making Disciples of a New Generation, Who Will in Turn, Make Disciples!”

This stewardship season, we are excited to be introducing the narrative mission plan. Instead of a traditional spreadsheet, we are looking at our budget as stories that impact everyone in our community with our four key mission areas: Community Connection & Worship, Discipleship & Christian Education, Local & Global Mission and Music & Arts Ministry.

This past month, we have been sharing stories from members of our community in each of these mission areas and how our church has impacted their lives and the lives of others. We know there are countless other stories within our community and we are so thankful for everyone who has made a difference in someone else’s life.

As with past years, we are asking for two pledges on your commitment card: one for the General Fund and another for the Building Fund. The General Fund supports the day-to-day operations of our church, while the Building Fund helps cover our maintenance expenses, such as the roof and parking lot, and other essential needs such as landscaping and equipment repairs, like our air conditioners. Your pledges allow us to effectively budget for our 2027 mission plan. Each one plays a vital role in sustaining these four mission areas and ensuring our continued growth.

Prayerfully consider your financial support of New Covenant Lutheran Church for 2027. We kindly ask you to complete and return your commitment card to the church in person or online by November 8 for Commitment Sunday. Your contributions are what allow our missions to thrive.

Peace be with you!
