Before the explosion, Lutheran World Relief (LWR) had been working in Lebanon reaching out to poor Lebanese families and large populations of Syrian and Palestinian refugees to overcome the challenges of the country’s ongoing economic crisis.

The quilts and kits in these container are given to LWR by Lutheran churches through out the United States.
